In case you haven't figured it out, Taylor Swift is indeed one popular girl.
The country songbird sold more than 1 million copies of her latest album, Speak Now—the biggest album debut in the past five years.
Swift, who was pretty much everywhere to promote the album (including right here at E!) and boosted by a $3.99 per album promotion at Amazon.com, moved 1,047,000 copies last week, per Nielsen SoundScan. That's a smidgen higher than Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III (1,006,000) in 2008 and just under 50 Cent's The Massacre (1,140,000) back in 2005.
Upon hearing the news, Swift was her usual aw-shucks self, tweeting: "I... Can't... Believe...This... You guys have absolutely lit up my world. Thank you."
