Nearly 24 hours since word broke that Disney princess Demi Lovato had entered a treatment facility for "emotional and physical issues," and not so much as a squeak from the Mouse House.

Until now.

"We support Demi's decision to put her health first and we send her our best wishes," a rep  for Disney said in an unexpectedly brief statement on the matter.

The lack of verbosity from the network is hardly surprising, given that they're keeping Lovato's family and entourage on lockdown in terms of speaking on record to the press.

However, father Patrick Lovato, currently receiving treatment for cancer in New Mexico, spoke with E! News today.

"Demi's always had a good head on her shoulders," he said. "It's best for her right now if she is able to get away from everyone to focus on her treatment."

Incidentally, the production of Sonny With a Chance will not be affected by the 18-year-old's foray into inpatient treatment—at a location that has yet to be identified—as the kid-friendly show is currently in the midst of a scheduled hiatus.

Here's hoping she gets all the time she needs.
