Lately, a few models and fashion experts have turned the word of couture and catwalks into a lethal, trash-talking, hair-pulling blowout—and don't get us wrong, we're loving every second of it!
First there was Tim Gunn verbally bitch slapping "bratty" Taylor Momsen, and now former top model Paulina Porizkova is getting in on the action by dissing Tyra Banks, Naomi Campbell and, uh...just about everyone else in the industry.
But the real question is: Why is everyone in the world of fabulous fashion so damn bitchy lately?
You recognize Paulina, don't you? If not, we can't blame you—she had a blink-and-you-miss-it stint as a judge on America's Next Top Model before getting canned by Tyra & Co. But trust, P isn't going down without a few-years-too-late fight.
"The one guarantee that you will never make it as a model is to go on that show," Paulina trashed about the modeling competition. Uh, hello, Paulina! Plenty of those girls landed gigs at Kohls. We don't know what you're talking about.
Then there were Nicole Kidman and Madonna, who used to be "so gorgeous and sexy" but, thanks to perhaps a bit of nipping and tucking, are now her "pet peeve." And don't forget "transvestite" look-alike Janice Dickinson, "goner" Gisele Bündchen and Naomi Campbell, who P.P. says was once the "most obsequious ass-kisser there ever was."
Now, if Pauline were a bitter dinosaur-hag like Joan Collins hissing at Jennifer Aniston, perhaps we'd understand the envy factor here. But Porizkova's only 45 years old. She's acting like she's twice that age.
Damn, Paulina. Someone has a hanger up her ass.
