Three years ago, when the first Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants was released, Gilmore Girls’ Alexis Bledel and Joan of Arcadia’s Amber Tamblyn were the well-known stars. But out with the old and in with Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively and Ugly Betty’s America Ferrera. That had to make for some awkward vibes on set.
(Also, not to create more drama where it doesn’t necessarily exist, but Amber and Alexis don’t exactly look pumped to be at the sequel's premiere in NYC Monday night.)
But enough of that! Let’s talk dresses...
Blake is positively glowing in her flowing orange Gucci, as is America in her vibrant turquoise. They make quite the pair.
On the classic black front, Amber is wearing a jumpsuit. We still have a strict no-jumpsuit policy in these parts, sorry—try again at the next three-year reunion. Alexis’ one-shouldered ruffled LBD is definitely cute but looks severe against the fun the other girls exude.
