Renée Zellweger & Bradley Cooper Hit the Town Together—for Business or Pleasure?

Low-key costar couple hits an industry soiree but refuses to be photographed together and are unaffectionate at dinner

Renée Zellweger and Bradley Cooper usually fly under the radar, but they were all over the Hollywood scene last night.

So then why was the couple so cold to each other at dinner, after skipping photos at a party? Were they in a bad mood because of their recent box office stinker?

First, Renée and Bradley attended CAA's Young Hollywood charity event at MyHouse, but opted not to pose for photos together before heading to dinner at Katsuya with Alyssa Milano and her hubby Dave Bugliari (who just so happens to be Bradley's agent).

The twosome was "not affectionate at all" during their dinner, according to a source on the scene.

"The studios aren't happy that their movie Case 39 took so long to premiere," a source tells me. "They're trying to get publicity going."

A little late, you guys?

The horror movie had been awaiting release for two years ago, and took in a measly $5.4 million when it finally opened last weekend.

As they leave the party, notice how Bradley lets another dude escort Renée down the stairs, and then how she blows Coop off when he tries to open the car door for her.

If you two are trying to create buzz, at least pretend like you actually like each other? Or quit acting like you're not a couple?

We're confused.
