Sarah Jessica Parker really nails three fall trends at the Burberry show in London: leather, lace and military. And you can get the look just as easily online or at your local mall.

AllSaints has my favorite midpriced leather jackets, which are a steal for the price since they look way more expensive then they really are.

You can also find a deal at vintage stores where '80s shoulder-padded leather jackets have been unloved for the last 30 years. Some minor alterations and you'll look like a million bucks!

If you want to get the look for a lot less try the faux leather jackets at Guess?, H&M and Express.

In terms of lace, many women think it's far too precious for them to wear. But the look for fall has a harder feel. So if a lace blouse is too frilly or girlie, toughen it up by wearing it under a menswear suit. Or try a vintage Victorian lace chemise with a perfect tea-stained patina layered with a tank and worn with jeans for a softer '70s look and get a head-start on spring 2011 trends!

The boys department is a great resource for women to get the military look, like this awesome jacket from GapKids. (Boys size 10/12 usually fits a size 4 or 6 woman.)

And your local Army/Navy Surplus store has long been an inspiration point for fashion folk, like Burberry, Gaultier and Balmain. Military ribbons give your favorite blazer or jean jacket a colorful punch and combine with some Swarovski crystal pins for a whimsical sparkle. A chic military belt at the waist of your favorite blazer will also give you the look.
