Why You Should See The Social Network

Director David Fincher and writer Aaron Sorkin hit all the right buttons in the maybe-not-so-true story behind the creation of Facebook

The Social Network rocks.

Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield and Justin Timberlake do real good, people...

Although Rooney Mara isn't in the flick much, the opening bar scene of her as the fictionalized Erica Albright and Eisenberg's Mark Zuckerberg is destined to become a classic. Armie Hammer playing twin brothers Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss is pitch-perfect. And let's be honest, seeing double of Hammer is never a bad thing.

I won't pretend to know if the story told by director David Fincher and writer Aaron Sorkin is the real story behind the making of Facebook. For me, The Social Network is just a great friggin' movie. It's a legal and business drama that plays like a thriller. It's a piece of theater that's chock full of greed, money, brains, jealousy and ego.

The debate on what went down between the cofounders of Facebook will probably rage on forever or, as a relationship status might say, "It's Complicated."
