Jon Stewart Wants Ricky Gervais to Apologize...For Being Funny!
Three months later and Ricky Gervais is still getting heat for his controversial turn as emcee at this year's Golden Globes. But not the kind you'd expect.
"Here's what you have to apologize about for the Golden Globes," Jon Stewart told his fellow comic when he stopped by The Daily Show on Thursday. "Making people like me, who've also hosted these events, feel inadequate by being that funny. By going out there and being hilarious and doing a great job, it actually hurt my self-esteem and I think you do owe me an apology."
"This is what I think I should apologize for about the Golden Globes: F--k all!" replied Gervais with a laugh. "If they ever came to my standup, their heads would explode."
And that would hurt anyone's self-esteem.

To hear Ricky Gervais tell it, there's no damage control to be done.
The confident-in-his-ways comedian sat down with Piers Morgan tonight for another Golden Globes postmortem (plus some other stuff) and made a very good case for why everyone should just forget about the so-called daggers he threw at his fellow celebs while hosting Sunday's ceremony.

There's been plenty of backlash about Ricky Gevais' controversial turn as host of the 2011 Golden Globes, and he even believes he went too far. If only for a quick second.
Now, the comic will explain what he was thinking tonight on Piers Morgan Tonight. And believe us, despite his fleeting self doubt, and apology on his personal blog, his ballsiness is back.

Mark Ruffalo to the Academy: "Grow a Pair!"
Forget to tell you my favorite moment backstage at the Globes Sunday night:
"I have a message for the Academy," Kids Are All Right star Mark Ruffalo announced.
"Grow a pair!"
Jeez, what the hell caused Ruffalo so say that?
Why Was Winner Laura Linney MIA at the Golden Globes?
When Laura Linney's name was called out as the winner of the Best Actress in a TV Series, Musical or Comedy, at the Golden Globes this weekend, The Big C star was nowhere to be seen.
And not because she chose an inopportune time to hit the ladies' room.
Instead, presenters Blair Underwood and Vanessa Williams were left to accept the award on her behalf with nary a mention of Linney's whereabouts, or the usual explanation that she was regrettably on location. Because she wasn't.
So what happened?
