Something fishy is going on here.

The actress behind this ensemble set out to prove that, when it comes to cuisine couture, a meat dress isn't the only way to make a fashion statement.

And while she's had plenty of practice keeping things private, this star decided that such craftsmanship was definitely worth sharing with the public.

It's Kate Walsh, who made quite a splash during her appearance Thursday night on the Tonight Show With Jay Leno.

"This is an homage to Lady Gaga," explained the Private Practice star. "It's a sushi and sashimi dress."

While impressive, we hate to break it to Kate that this look is so 2009.
