Ready to be named America's most talented next top idol? Well, we can't help you there.

But if you're ready to be named America's new favorite dancer, now there you're in luck.

Why? Because Fox announced today that auditions for the eighth season of So You Think You Can Dance will kick off in less than one months' time.

So far, just two audition cities have been named, but much more will be added in the coming weeks. But as of now, the only way to get to Las Vegas is by way of Brooklyn or Oakland.

"In addition to discovering fantastic new talent, So You Think You Can Dance has introduced viewers to the young, edgy, incredibly creative side of dance we hadn't seen before on television," cocreator, head judge and returning American Idol savior Nigel Lythgoe said.

"From the Emmy-winning choreography to the incredible contestants, So You Think You Can Dance is a cultural phenomenon, and we're excited that it will be back for another season."

Krumpers, swingers (not like that), hip-hoppers, ballerinas, tappers and those who've mastered the art of jazz hands—provided they're between the ages of 18 to 30—are welcome to board the hot tamale train at the following audition locations:

• Oct. 13: Oakland, Paramount Theatre of the Arts
• Nov. 15: Brooklyn, Howard Gilman Opera House

In the meantime, the SYTYCD Tour begins Sept. 19 in New Orleans.
