Did Vince Neil Really Get Nasty in an Elevator?

Crüe frontman is being probed for allegedly assaulting a woman in a Sin City hotel elevator, but hotel says it never happened

Don't go away mad, just go away. That's not just a Mötley Crüe tune, but also Vince Neil's theme song right about now.

The rocker remains under investigation by Sin City police for allegedly assaulting a woman in an elevator of the Las Vegas Hilton—despite the hotel's assertion that its own surveillance video does not show any such incident ever taking place.

"He is listed as a suspect in a misdemeanor battery," Officer Barbara Morgan tells E! News. "As far as it's concerned it's an open investigation." No charges have been filed and Neil remains free.

A publicist for Neil was unavailable for comment.

The alleged victim filed a misdemeanor battery complaint against the 49-year-old Neil claiming he roughed her up as she was as she was going up to her room Sunday night. In a video statement released to TMZ, the woman, identified as Jessica Radovicz, says the assault occurred after the rocker blew up at her when she asked him if he was on TV.

"He yelled at me, grabbed me by the arms and threw me against the wall," Radovicz says. "He started calling me names and along with the two females that were on the side of him and I got out of the elevator and I was extremely upset and extremely shooken [sic] up.

"I really don't think that anybody should be treated like this and I don't think that just because you're a celebrity you should be able to get away with something like that."

Or did he? According to a statement released by the Hilton, the attack ever happened.

"As we always do for the protection and security of our guests, we have conducted our own investigation of this incident. After reviewing surveillance video and interviewing witnesses, we've concluded that her allegations against Vince Neil are completely unfounded," says Ken Ciancimino, the resort's executive vice president. "We also understand that the local authorities have deemed her allegations to be without merit. Accordingly, we consider the matter closed."

The police spokeswoman however said investigators have yet to look into the matter, but hope to do so in the next day or so.

"[The surveillance footage] is now impounded and a detective will go and look at it once they are assigned to the case," says Morgan. "And they'll probably want to talk to Vince Neil."
