Was Lindsay Lohan Axed From Machete Premiere?

US Weekly is reporting L.L. was refused entrance, true?

All you actionholics just checking out Machete tonight, keep your eyes peeled for a famous babe who might be popping into the theatre with you.

'Cause that may be the only way Lindsay Lohan, who makes a glorified (and very, very naked) cameo, will be able to see the finished film. US Weekly is reporting that L.L., despite what Camp Lohan (i.e. Dina) says, was purposely not invited to last week's premiere. But that can't possibly be the case, seeing as director Robert Rodriguez couldn't stop gushing about the gal—could it?

It absolutely could be true.

Remember, as we told you last week, a source who played a mucho-important role in setting up the event told us, "I hear she really wanted to come, actually" when asked about the suspiciously absent Lohan.

While Linds' usually-trusty lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley tried to make us believe Linds herself didn't want to attend the swanky shindig—citing her new-found sobriety and all as the reason she backed out—we say poo poo.

Clearly L.L. doesn't mind hitting her former fave hot spots (as long as they don't interfere with her "focusing on work," of cours), à la a visit to Chateau Marmont last weekend, so we'd think that a premiere wouldn't be out of the question.

But really, whose fault is this whole mess?

Obviously we know Linds isn't the most reliable of chicks and her presence at the premiere would have taken mucho attention away from the movie and onto every post-jail, post-rehab Q possible. But, at the same time, for blabbing about how great Lindsay was in the project, you'd think Robert would give her the chance to prove she can still promote more than just her personal problems.

Hell, we kind of feel bad for her.

As for those other reports that Linds' isn't nude on the big screen, well we say double poo poo to that too. Yes, we spotted the freckle-less body double in her big threesome scene, and while she keeps her goodies mostly covered throughout the flick—not that we haven't seen 'em before, mind you—she definitely gives the girls a little cameo. If you're into that.

Just make sure you compliment Linds afterwards or, hey, buy her a bucket of popcorn for the next screening she's bound to stay for. We know she loves to see herself on the big screen.
