Britney Spears is letting her freak flag fly again.
It's all in the name of art, though, so that makes the crazy OK...right?
The simmered-down songstress graces the September cover of Britain's Pop magazine in full-on Japanese manga costume: sweet white lace dress, big eyes, looking like a young girl. Bubble insets show Brit dressed as a bride and a schoolgirl.
The comic-book-inspired shoot was directed by legendary artist Takashi Murakami, and Brit was pretty pleased with his work.
She tweeted yesterday: "I just saw the photos for the first time and they are beautiful...Thanks @TakashiPom."
So what do you think of Britney's editorial, brilliant or freaky?
