Another day, another American Idol disaster.
Asia'h Epperson, a semi-finalist on the Fox talent show's seventh season, was arrested Wednesday night for allegedly assaulting another woman at a Hollywood hot spot, E! News has learned.
According to an LAPD spokesman, the Idol reject and her sister got into a scuffle with another woman while in the ladies room. Neither the victim nor Epperson appeared to be hurt.
"There were no visible injuries," said the spokesman.
The unidentified victim subsequently filed a criminal complaint against Epperson. The latter was cuffed outside the venue at about 2:20 a.m. and taken to a nearby station where she was booked on a battery charge; she was released five hours later on bail.
"It was a private person's arrest," said the spokesman. "They were standing in front of the club and flagged down a police car."
The 21-year-old Epperson, who hails from Missouri, first came to the attention of Idol viewers during auditions in Atlanta, but she was eliminated after her rendition of Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody."
