Ke$ha and her mouth took Chicago by storm over the weekend, and we aren't just talking about how she was tonguing her new Australian boyfriend, Alex Carapetis, all around Lollapalooza.

While Lady Gaga, Green Day and The Strokes were delivering fab performances, it was the antics of the stars in crowd that interested us the most, natch.

Like Ke$ha's off-stage meltdown at a Lollapalooza party...

We're told that Ke$ha (must we really put the dollar sign in every time, be-yotch?) was chilling at the BMF Music Lounge at the Hard Rock Hotel in Chicago, where a lot of the afterparties take place. After arriving, the Tik-Toker made an attempt to have the room cleared out, but people pretty much ignored the babbling blonde.

The singer started making out on the balcony with "some skinny-jeaned guy," who we've since learned is Carapetis, totally ignoring the small but going-strong party happening inside. Some of the boozers were snapping pictures of the über-cool scene when the "diva" went off on them.

"She started freaking out and yelling at everyone for taking pictures of ‘something near her,' " says a source on the receiving end of Ke$ha's bitching. "Literally, no one was paying attention to her or taking pictures anywhere near her. Everyone was just trying to enjoy the party."

Jeez, Ke$h, what's with the ‘tude? Someone break your autotuner? Hate to break it to you, babe, but you're hardly at the fame level where you can get away with that. Little less booze next time, 'K?

Elsewhere, in the same hotel, David Arquette was making some not-so-wise decisions, but in a much more lovable way.

A source saw David, who "appeared a little too drunk," wandering around the hotel desperately looking for the Hard Rock's tattoo station. Lo and behold, the Scream 4 star eventually found it and convinced the reluctant tattoo artist to ink him.

"He was a s--t show," is how our source who was working the lounge puts it, adding that Arquette was a riot and that everyone "absolutely loved him."

"Considering that some of the other stars in the hospitality area were forcing the employees to bring in pizza because they didn't like the hotel's food, Arquette's tat was pretty much the most exciting thing that happened," spills our witness.

Wonder how wife Courteney Cox reacted to her hubby's newest design...Hope Davey didn't regret it in the morning.
