In one corner, we have Eminem, with his new video for the song, "Love the Way You Lie."
Not only does it feature Rihanna lending her vocal talents, but it also stars Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan acting out all the abusive and, literally, combustible behavior the tune is hellbent on describing.
Of course, if the sight of Fox and Monaghan violently going at it is not your thing, may we suggest another, slightly calmer, Kanye vid that also premiered on MTV last night…
Or, as West himself calls it, "a painting," for the song "Power."
Which is a pretty accurate description given how it's essentially a shot of a stationary Kanye staring out as the camera pulls back to reveal something you might see hanging on the wall of a museum—with a whole lot of sexualized religious imagery thrown in for good measure.
Shh. Don't tell Katy Perry.
