After all, he is no longer in the business of angering Sarah Palin. (Allegedly.)
In any event, an attorney for Bristol Palin's on-again fiancé has shot down rampant speculation that Wasilla's onetime Most Eligible Bachelor impregnated an ex-girlfriend while he was broken up with Alaska's former first daughter.
Johnston's attorney has acknowledged that Levi had a relationship with Lanesia Garcia in his Palin-loving interim, and was aware of the pregnancy, but made sure the situation was not his to deal with before he and Bristol went public with their reconciliation.
"There is no truth to this rumor," Johnston attorney Rex Butler tells E! News. "This young lady has said more than once, and just as recently as late last week that she wishes the rumors would end because Levi 'is not' the father of her child.
"Unfortunately, for Levi, there are people who want to interrupt his relationship with Bristol and feel they can target him in this manner.
"There are those who feel for a few pieces of silver, they can have 15 minutes of fame…"
Butler adds that "Levi is more than willing to do a DNA test to prove he is not the father" and that he is focusing on his work.
And, no doubt, disappointing Sarah Palin on his own terms.
