Despite breaking her hip in a nasty fall over the weekend—an incident that might fell other 93-year-olds—the potentially devastating injury was taken in stride by Zsa Zsa Gabor, who successfully underwent hip replacement surgery this morning.

The legendary socialite spent three-and-a-half hours on the operating table at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and the procedure, which began bright and early at 6 a.m., apparently went off without a hitch.

"Everybody's relieved," publicist John Blanchette told Los Angeles' ABC affiliate. "It looks like it was a successful operation. She will be held at the hospital for four to five days minimum while she recuperates."

Here's to a speedy recovery!
