Well, we hope so considering we told you that back in May.
When Summit announced its lineup for the fab geek-filled festival, Twilight castmembers were noticeably absent. Instead, the studio will be presenting panels for its upcoming films Red and Drive Angry 3D.
So where is the vampire crew?
"It would be very hard for Rob, Kristen or Taylor to make it due to their schedules," a source over at the studio tells us.
Stewart will be in a Marylou mindset, not Bella, for her new film On the Road, and R.Pattz will be finishing up Water for Elephants here in L.A.
Also one teeny problem?
"Breaking Dawn doesn't start preproduction until the fall, and details for the final films are still being sorted out," our insider says. "Basically, there isn't a whole lot of new information to give fans about the last movies two weeks from now."
Comic-Con runs July 22-25. Somehow we don't think Twi-hards would care much about a lack of new info (any robsten is better than no Robsten), but oh well. Anna Kendrick will be on hand to promote Scott Pilgrim though.
Still, we think Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz could have made a little appearance, right? The next highest paid actors after the golden three would surely appease fans to some extent (and we aren't really sure on what they're doing the rest of the summer anyway), but it's "not happening."
Just rest in peace, Robsten lovers, knowing that instead of shacking up at the Hard Rock Hotel in S.D. like they did last summer, R and K will be enjoying the love nest they have up here in Los Angeles together.
So are you all devastated Eclipse stars are going to be a no shows? Or do they deserve the break? We say the latter.
