Move over, Neil Patrick Harris. Kristin Chenoweth? Not today!

Right now, the big buzz surrounding Glee is that Oscar-winning actor Javier Bardem will pop up as a rock star in the series' second season.

Is the rumor true? Might the musical sensation land its greatest guest star yet? Here's what we're hearing:

Our Glee sources confirm EW.com's fab casting scoop—only with just a little twist. We're hearing that Javier will indeed pop up at some point next season, but as of now, nothing official is set.

But based on what the No Country for Old Men star (and Penélope Cruz's mancandy) recently told EW about the gig, we don't have anything to worry about.

"We're going to rock the house," Bardem said of the rock-star role he reportedly pitched to his Eat Pray Love director Ryan Murphy. (Yep, Javier is actually a Glee fan!) "We're going to do some heavy metal—Spanish heavy metal, which is the worst."

And who exactly is this "we" he's referring to? Apparently Bardem's alter ego will befriend wheelchair-bound Artie (Kevin McHale), and the two are gonna rock the house—or, at the very least, the halls of McKinley High.

So what do you think about the news? Does it tickle your Glee fancy? Sing your praises below!
