Gary Coleman's loved ones will get their chance to say goodbye this weekend.

Agent Shieila Erickson said today that Coleman's family is hoping to hold a memorial service for the late actor on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday in Salt Lake City, but has not yet decided whether it should remain private or be open to the public.

Coleman, who had suffered from kidney ailments all his life, died Friday at a Utah hospital after being taken off life-support following a brain hemorrhage. The Diff'rent Strokes star was 42.

Coleman attorney Randy Kester told Us Weekly that the former child star's estranged parents are planning to attend the service. The actor sued Sue and Willie Coleman and an ex-manager in 1989, accusing them of swiping some of his money. He was ultimately awarded $1.3 million.
