Theo Alexander is being a good little vampire and keeping tight-lipped about his role in the new season of True Blood.

However, he sure knows how to tease…

In the upcoming third season of HBO's hit bloodsucking series (premiering June 13), Alexander plays Talbot, husband of Russell Edgington (Denis O'Hare), the vampire king of Mississippi. There are reports circulating already that Talbot cheats on Russell with Bill (Stephen Moyer), Eric (Alexander Skarsgård), Jason (Ryan Kwanten) or Sam (Sam Trammell).

"Don't believe the rumors," Alexander insisted when we recently chatted with him.

When asked how naked he gets during his eight-episode gig, the Athens, Greece, native teased, "Not too much, but when I do, it's for a good reason. It's going to be a crazy season. We take it as far as we can."

Alexander said Talbot was originally a British vampire, but he decided to keep his native Greek accent during the audition. "I walked in my kimono because he's wearing a robe in his first scene," he said. "There were like 12 or 13 people with [creator] Alan Ball. I then had to wait three weeks to have my callback. A half hour after the callback, they called and told me I got the part. It was one of the happiest times of my life."

Coincidentally, True Blood just started airing back home in Greece last week. Alexander beamed, "It's the No. 1 show in Greece right now!"
