You can stop calling about this.

Producer Rodney Jerkins doesn't want you to think anymore. It is indeed Britney Spears singing on the debated leaked recording of Lady Gaga's "Telephone", he confirms in a UStream video posted Monday.

As the story goes, Gaga wrote the track for Circus star, who recorded the track as a rough demo before passing on it. A site called iLeaks reportedly got a hold of it and sold it for $750 over the weekend.

"I was caught off guard last night with this 'Telephone' leak of Britney," Jerkins says. "I've been asked to leak the version, and I haven't leaked the version, and then last night, there was a version leaked. I really don't know who leaked the version. It was an early demo stage of the version. It wasn't even a mixed version. I would never leak something without Britney's approval, without [her manager] Larry Rudolph, without Jive Records."

BritBrit herself has yet to comment.

For our part, we're diggin' the sound. Sure, it's not Lady Gaga and Beyoncé and their parade of a million costumes, but it sounds like a hit Spears track that could-have-been.

In the end, though, Britney's wrong number definitely turned out all right for Gaga.
