Miley Cyrus Says Liam's Proud of Her New Video (So Why Couldn't He Watch Her Shoot?)

Maybe his banishment had something to do with all the hot dancers...

Miley Cyrus has no problem sticking out in a group of fellow female hotties.

But that doesn't mean she wants boyfriend Liam Hemsworth having to pick her out of a crowd.

"He didn't stay on the set very long, because there [were] like 20 hot girl dancers," the 17-year-old explained to Ryan Seacrest in an exclusive sit-down with E! News on the eve of the premiere of her latest video, "Can't Be Tamed."

"I was like, 'You can leave now. You can watch the video when it's all about me.' "

So what does her beau think of the finished product?

"He really liked it," Miley said contentedly.

"And I think for anyone that saw me write it and get involved with it and have all my ideas...It was so detailed, the way that I had it all envisioned. I think he was proud of seeing someone write, and then you look at them like they're nuts, and then you see it all come together and go, 'OK, that makes sense.'"

We're glad to hear Liam supports Miley's career, and not just her waist on the red carpet.

And be sure to tune in Tuesday to E! News at 7 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. for the world premiere of the "Can't Be Tamed" video, and see what's made Liam and the rest of Miley's loved ones so proud.
