Something fishy is going on in the land of the crawdaddy.
First, Survivor: Samoa runner-up and current Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains baddie Russell Hantz gets arrested last week at a Lafayette, La., nightclub for allegedly shoving a woman to the ground.
Now, Kenward "Boo" Bernis, who competed on Survivor: Fiji back in 2007, has been busted in the same town for allegedly assaulting another female at Bootleggers Bar—a nightclub that just happens to be owned by, yes, Russell Hantz.
Must be something in the beer.
Police had scant details on what prompted the weekend incident and declined to identify Bernis' accuser. Bernis was unavailable for comment.
But according to Sgt. Mark Francis of the Lafayette Police Department, cops were called to the scene and, after investigating, they issued the reality star a summons/citation for a misdemeanor battery offense that requires him to appear in court.
"It was an altercation between him and a victim that occurred at the nightclub," Francis tells E! News. "He faces either a $500 fine or a maximum six months in the parish jail, but most cases receive a fine and you attend some management classes."
And, might we suggest, stay away from Russell—there's a reason he was put on the Villain tribe.
