You probably don't think Kristen Stewart and Beyoncé have much in common.

Well, as of today, they do.

After much hemming and hawing, and even more rounds of rumors, Dreamgirls helmer Bill Condon is set to direct Breaking Dawn, based on the fourth novel of the Twilight series.

The Oscar winner will be working with the usual cast of characters, including Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg.

"I'm very excited to get the chance to bring the climax of this saga to life onscreen," Condon said in a statement. "As fans of the series know, this is a one-of-a-kind book, and we're hoping to create an equally unique cinematic experience."

Of course, author Stephenie Meyer gave her two cents as well.

"I'm so thrilled the Bill wants to work with us," she said. "I think he's going to be a great fit, and I'm excited to see what he does with the material."

As for whether or not Condon is facing one or two films, Summit confirms to E! News that no official decision has been made just yet.
