There are still no arrests. But the family of Monica Beresford-Redman can take some comfort in the newest development in the investigation into their daughter's death.

"The body is being released to the family today," family spokeswoman Valerie Allen told E! News. "[Monica's sisters] Jeane and Carla are in Cancun handling all of that."

Yesterday, the family organized A Walk for Justice, a fundraiser aiming to raise money to help transport Monica's body back to California and pay for a funeral.

Monica's husband, former Survivor producer Bruce Beresford-Redman, remains the sole suspect in Mexican authorities' investigation. Last week, his parents formally requested custody of the couple's two children, a move Bruce told the courts he was in favor of making permanent.

Though Bruce has yet to be arrested or charged in his wife's death, he is unable to leave the country as the case continues to move (slowly) forward. As for reports that DNA testing has been concluded, Allen told E! News she "cannot confirm anything" about it.
