Fashion Police: Nicole Kidman's Penguin Suit Ruffles Our Feathers

It's no secret Nicole Kidman's style has been a little boring and repetitive lately.

So when she stepped out of her L'Wren Scott sheath comfort zone and into a wacky L'Wren Scott black-and-white tuxedo dress and matching booties for the ACM Awards this weekend, we so badly wanted to give her kudos. Really, we did!

But what the heck is this thing?!

To be fair, the lace-up shoes are pretty cool, and we love that Nic's showing off her enviable gams (sexy!). But she would've been better off wearing an actual tux cut for a lady rather than this weird homage to one.
