After posting pics of herself in short blond wig, singer goes out with dull, lifeless locks, WTF?

Whoa, Jessica Simpson, talk about a bad hair day!

A day after she posted some wig-time fun pics on Twitter, the Price of Beauty star showed up to Good Housekeeping's 125th anniversary issue party with the dullest, most lifeless locks. WTF?

How did she go from cropped, chic cuteness to sad and boring overnight? Either her BFF and stylist Ken Paves was asleep at the job or Jess just played it way too safe.

We say she should have stuck to the wig (the stylish side-swept one, natch). It was adorable, fun and way more interesting than these blah (possibly unwashed?) blond tresses.
