We have a feeling Ellen DeGeneres really doesn't give a rat's ass what a hunters rights organization has to say about her.

Even so, a comic book about the talk-show funnylady is under attack by the U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance because it benefits the Humane Society of the United States…

Bluewater Productions released Female Force: Ellen DeGeneres last week, and DeGeneres chose the Humane Society for the charity component of the $3.99 comic.

A rep for Bluewater says he received an email, a letter and multiple phone calls on Monday from the Sportsmen's Alliance.

"As the producer of this comic, we respectfully ask that you consider severing the relationship you have established with HSUS," Alliance president and chief executive officer Walter P. Pidgeon wrote in an email provided to us by Bluewater.

No surprise, but Bluewater will not be considering Mr. Pidgeon's request.

"While we respect your right to disagree with the goals of The Humane Society of the United States," a Bluewater rep said, "we do not share your concerns about the organization."

In other DeGeneres animal news, she recently partnered with the U.S. Postal Service to promote its new set of 10 dog and cat stamps to help raise awareness for the need to adopt pets from shelters.
