"That was the most amazing thing I've ever experienced! Oprah is the sweetest woman I've ever met!," star Amber Riley (Mercedes) gushed via Twitter Saturday morning. "I'm partying tonight!"
She is, of course, referring to the cast of Glee's just-taped appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show, set to air Wednesday, April 7, and she is, of course, not the only one. In fact, her fellow castmates were equally excited about their hour with the queen of daytime, one going as far as...a marriage proposal?!
"Oprah.Dzown. Still high from the adrenaline! So incredibly proud of every one! It was so fun!," exclaimed Kevin McHale (Artie), just before announcing, "Oprah and are getting married now. I love her." Hmmm, kinda makes us wonder if Oprah was getting her cougar on during the interview. If so, go, O!
Dianna Agron (Quinn) and Lea Michele (Rachel) both sang the praises of the media goddess, too, before heading to a celebratory get-together with the Glee girls. "In Chicago! Just taped OPRAH!," Michele wrote. "She was so nice and we had such a blast. Now off to lunch with @alittlelamb @ijennaush and @msamberriley:)"
Said the always gracious Agron: "Oprah. Some of the most magical hours we've had together. Proud of our Glee family, the steps we've taken and many, many thanks to Lady O."
And fans of Cory Monteith (Finn) should be excited, because his Oprah appearance will give us a first listen at his vocals live. "just rocked the oprah winfrey show! my first live singing performance, ever. oh man that was awesome," he tweeted.
They've conquered the world Oprah Winfrey Show, next up is the White House for that much-talked-about Easter extravaganza on Monday.
