Will Beyoncé soon be busting out with a baby bump?
Mediatakout reported yesterday that the "Single Ladies" songtress is pregnant with her and hubby Jay-Z's first child.
So is it time to send baby gifts to the music power couple?
Sources tell us that Beyoncé is not preggers. "No baby," one of those sources wrote in an email. "Not true," said another.
All this despite the report that claims:
"According to our source Beyoncé is doing fine and resting (for now), but she's expected to continue working throughout her pregnancy," a post on Mediatakeout reads. "And we're also told that Jay Z is EXTREMELY happy to be having his first child with Bey."
Reps for Beyoncé and Jay-Z aren't confirming or denying the report. "No comment," B's rep said. And Jay-Z hasn't responded to our emails requesting a comment.
Speculation about the two starting a family soon began brewing in January when Beyoncé revealed that she was actually going to take some time off after her tour ended last month.
"It's definitely time to take a break, to recharge my batteries," she told USA Today. "I'd like to take about six months and not go into the studio. I need to just live life, to be inspired by things again. I'm going to do random things. I want to go to restaurants, maybe take a class and see some movies and Broadway shows."
And then there was a report in Page Six a few weeks ago that Beyoncé and Jay-Z were spotted drinking "virgin strawberry mojitos" while enjoying some time in Chile.
Staying away from alcohol may be one of those signs a woman is pregnant, but the gossip column also reported they were "eating ceviche," as in the Spanish dish of raw fish.
Uncooked fish is a big no-no for mommies-to-be.
If the couple does ever have baby news to share, don't expect them to do it publicly. Remember, they never even officially confirmed they got married.
