From Miley to Melrose: Say Hello to One Lucky Lady

Actress Melissa Ordway talks about Miley, Liam and her role on Melrose Place

You may not know who Melissa Ordway is just yet, but lemme tell ya, this chica is one very busy actress.

First let's talk about The Last Song, the upcoming Nicholas Sparks romantic drama starring Miley Cyrus. Ordway plays the ex-girlfriend of the flick's leading man and Cyrus' real-life beau, Liam Hemsworth…

"Liam is not hard to look to at," Ordway tells me with a laugh. "I was more than happy to play his ex-girlfriend! He's also one of the coolest guys. He's so unaffected by all of this."

In fact, Ordway insists she didn't realize the there was an off-set romance blooming between Cyrus and the Aussie hottie. But she says, "They have great onscreen chemistry so it's not surprising."

Mr. Hemsworth isn't the only good-looking fella Ordway has had the pleasure of working with lately.

Spoiler Alert! Ordway begins a guest spot on tonight's episode of Melrose Place as a woman with a dark past who gets in the middle of David and Lauren's relationship. Working with Shaun Sipos, who plays David, wasn't too hard.

"There's a lot of kissing," Ordway says. "Yeah, a ton of kissing."

But will her character and David actually last? "My dad is from a mob family," Ordway says, laughing. "There is some blackmail involved. I don't think people are going to like me very much."
