Lindsay Lohan is about to start sporting a baby bump. A fake one, mind you.

The starlet is taking a break from accompanying her DJ BFF around the globe and finally returning to her day job, signing on to star in the romantic comedy Labor Pains.

According to Variety, Lohan will star as an assistant at a prestigious publishing house who pretends to be in the family way in an attempt to avoid getting fired.

"It is a very different role for me and I look forward to the challenges it will present, and I love working on comedies," said Lohan, who, aside from an Ugly Betty stint, has seen several acting prospects vanish of late.

Cheryl Hines, Chris Parnell, Connie Britton and Luke Kirby also star in the film, which begins shooting in Burbank on Monday.
