The back-to-back seasons of So You Think You Can Dance may have given us a bit of a Mary Murphy-screaming hangover, but we're totally recovered now.

As you may recall, Fox decided to audition the summer hit as an autumn entry. It worked out OK, but executive producer and judge Nigel Lythgoe even admitted it was not without its flaws. Season-five champ Jeanine Mason didn't get to reign as America's Favorite Dancer for nearly long enough, and season-six winner Russell Ferguson, along with the rest of the Top 10 dancers, didn't get to tour the country performing the best routines of the cycle.

Alas, a big decision has been made about the Cat Deeley-hosted reality competition…

SYTYCD is staying on the hot tamale train. The seventh season will bow in the summer, starting May 27.

While tryouts have already taken place in New York City, you're not too late. The judges will be hitting Dallas, Nashville, Chicago and Los Angeles in March. (For more audition deets, visit fox.com/dance).

As for who those judges will be, we still haven't heard word if Adam Shankman will be returning as a permanent seat filler, but we did catch wind of a certain much-missed fixture being spotted at the NYC auditions. (Psst! It was Mia Michaels!).
