Oscar Noms = Big Yawn

Where are all the Academy Award snubs this year?

Oh yeah, Oscar nominations came out today, and while we consider awards season to be jollier than Christmas, it's starting to get just a tad repetitive, no?

Unless you consider The Hangover super snubbed in the Best Picture category (sorry, Trekkies, but there can only be one big blockbuster nom here, which James Cameron swooped up), there really were no surprise upsets this year.

Don't believe us? Well, come the night of March 7 it's going to go a little somethin' like this...

Best Picture: The Hurt Locker (the little movie that could has to win some major award)

Best Director: James Cameron (it's his consolidation prize for not winning Best Picture)

Best Actress: Sandra Bullock (everyone hearts S.B., she's the awards darling of the year)

Best Actor: Jeff Bridges (perfection, no explanation necessary)

Best Supporting Actress: Mo'Nique (she totally pulled off a hard role and she did it damn well)

Best Supporting Actor: Christoph Waltz (Stanley Tucci is a close second since the Academy loves him, but the movie is too taboo and sucky)

Anyone in disagreement?

Must fess, we're disappointed The Hangover and Star Trek didn't get nominated...Now we don't get to see Bradley Cooper or Chris Pine all dressed up in their finest digs. Oh well, George Clooney and Matt Damon will have to suffice.

Any upsets we forgot about? New Moon doesn't count, since it got plenty of nomination love yesterday.
