Watching the Sundance premiere of Howl—about beat poet Allen Ginsberg and his notorious verse—you gotta wonder: How does James Franco memorize all those lines of poetry? It's simple—he doesn't!

I caught up with Franco in Park City this week, and he explained why. But don't think he can't remember lines. When filming his guest stint on General Hospital, the man had to memorize 77 pages a day.
