That Miley Cyrus sure is a heartbreaker.
The tween sensation's former flame Justin Gaston is finally speaking out about his much publicized split with Cyrus, and he has some seriously deep thoughts on the topic.
"You can always tell when someone's getting ready to leave you," he tells E! News, "but you try so hard not to believe it and to hold on to every bit of hope that's left.
"I think everyone experiences the side of being hurt where you feel like you'll never feel again."
Enter his debut single, the weepy ballad "Paper Hearts," which sources say was heavily influenced by his breakup with Cyrus.
Just don't feel bad for the budding musician. Gaston says that the sentiments his lyrics imply are a bit deceiving: "You realize that life goes on, and you move on. You look back at it and laugh."

Miley's a stylish gal, but maybe one day she'll become a member of our Most Improved on the Red Carpet gallery.
