Fashion Police: Jessica Simpson Gets "Sophisticated" New Look

Singer usually falls into the fashion-don't category, but she's starting off 2k10 on a good foot. Check it out!

Jessica Simpson was out at the L.A. premiere of Extraordinary Measures last night (is she besties with Harrison Ford?), where she rocked an unusually subdued outfit.

Typically, Jess is all about big—big blond extensions, big boobs and big Louis Vuitton bags. But here she's toned everything down, even covering up with a turtleneck (shocking!), and we're kinda digging the sexy, sophisticated look.

Leggings as pants should be used sparingly, but we're giving her a pass since the black leggings on black booties have an overall slimming effect. Plus, we love her teased-up 'do and heavy-lined eyes that have that Brigitte Bardot thing going on.

New look, maybe new man, new denim line—maybe 2k10 is Jess' year?
