Four kids might not be enough for the Wahlberg clan.

"She's saying she's done, but she did start hinting to the fact that this would be the last time that we're in the hospital and she loves being a mother," Mark Wahlberg, referring to the birth of his fourth child with wife Rhea Durham this week, tells Ellen DeGeneres in an interview airing Friday.

"So she may end up wanting one more. We'll see what happens."

Daughter Grace Margaret was born Monday, joining older sibs on the block Brendan Joseph, 1, Michael, 3 1/2, and Ella Rae, 6.

"I'm the youngest of nine, so the more the merrier, but my wife has always wanted four, two boys and two girls, so miraculously she got everything she wanted," Wahlberg says.

Wahlberg and Durham, who have been together for nearly nine years, tied the knot in  August. They confirmed that they were expecting again just weeks later.

Which apparently suited Durham just fine!

"She likes hanging out at the hospital," Wahlberg joked (somewhat) of his longtime partner. "It was the first time we had a couple of days of peace and quiet even though she had to go through the pain of giving birth. She actually liked the fact that we were in a hotel room, alone.

"Well, it's kind of like a hotel room, the hospital room," he added. "She had a TV. I could watch my TV at the same time. She didn't really want to go home."

Hey, there could always be another maternity-ward getaway in the future.
