UPDATE: A statement on The Rush Limbaugh Show's website reads: "Rush was admitted to a Honolulu hospital today and is resting comfortably after suffering chest pains. Rush appreciates your prayers and well wishes. He will keep you updated via RushLimbaugh.com and on Thursday's radio program. "
Limbaugh was due back on the air Jan. 4 following his vacation. No word yet on whether he'll be able to make it.
Rush Limbaugh's island vacation has gone awry.
The 58-year-old talk-radio host was rushed to a Honolulu hospital earlier today with chest pains and was reportedly in serious condition, according to Hawaii station KITV.
Per the news outlet, paramedics responded to a call at 2:41 p.m. from the Kahala Hotel and Resort, where Limbaugh was staying.
The Queens Medical Center, where the conservative lightning rod is said to be now, is not confirming any details. Nor is the hotel, which refuses to acknowledge that Limbaugh is a guest, though he was spotted golfing this week at a nearby country club.

We wish Rush a speedy recovery. Here's hoping he's around to criticize the liberal Hollywood elite in our Big Picture gallery for a long, long time.
