OK, Katt Williams. Coin collecting is a hobby, not coin stealing.

The fledgling numismatist has been charged with burglary and criminal trespassing following his arrest Sunday night in Atlanta for allegedly breaking into a guesthouse with a crowbar and stealing roughly $3,555 in cash and rare coins.

"Huh?!" is right.

Williams, whose latest stand-up feature, Katt Williams: Pimpadelic, was a top-10 seller on DVD last month, was released on a $41,150 bond Monday afternoon, according to an officer at Coweta County Jail.

As he was leaving the jail, Williams characterized the situation as "a misunderstanding between me and two stupid detectives."

Per the local sheriff's office, Daniel Broach, an employee at the Newnan, Ga., estate where Williams was staying, called police at around 9 p.m. on Sunday to report that Williams had broken into a guesthouse on the proprerty and stole money and collectible coins.

This is just icing on the erratic-behavior cake for Williams, who was sentenced to three years' probation in late 2006 for having a gun in his briefcase at Los Angeles International Airport.

New York police allegedly found three guns in his car a year ago, not long before Williams was hospitalized for a psychiatric evaluation, but the case hit a roadblock and the charges were ultimately dropped.
