Talk about a quickie.

Miley Cyrus admits she didn't have to work too hard for her cameo in the upcoming Sex and the City movie sequel.

"I shot for like an hour and a half, and I was done," Cyrus told Ryan Seacrest this morning on his KIIS-FM morning radio show. "It was like the best job I'd ever been on."

Cyrus appears as herself in a scene in which she and Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) wear the same dress to a red carpet event.

"It was a total dream come true," the Hannah Montana star gushed. "It was so cool. Working with Kim was a really cool. And Sarah Jessica Parker was like the nicest person in the world."

And speaking of celebrity cameos in SATC 2

Bette Midler tells me that she is not going to be in the movie. Midler was recently snapped by paparazzi on the set with SJP.  "My daughter was a PA on the movie," Midler explains. "It was a big thrill for her. She had a great time. She loves the business."

And Mama Midler loves the business of beautifying New York City. In a few hours, she'll play host once again at the annual Hulaween costume gala benefiting the New York Restoration Project, her 14-year-old organization that promotes parks, community gardens and opens spaces in the Big Apple.

She declines to reveal her costume for the night. "I'm terrible, because I usually do it at the last minute," Midler says. "When I was trying to be glamorous and gorgeous, I would order a dress and everything, but I gave that up a couple of years ago. Now I just go as ghoulish as I can be, because it's so much easier and more comfortable. Last year, I came as a demented chef."

A new online auction benefiting the Restoration Project also launched today at CharityFolks.com. Among the offerings are meet-and-greets with celebs like John Mayer, Cher, Daniel Craig and Robin Williams.

While the recession has meant donations are down for most—if not all—nonprofits, Midler says NYRP is still in good shape.

"It's not just the major donors," Midler says. "It's also the people who live in the neighborhoods that have seen what we've done and are so grateful for it. They'll send in 10 bucks or 25 dollars. They're really the ones who keep us going."
