The evildoers are one step closer to being caught red- slightly grainy black-and-white-handed.

The Los Angeles Police Department just released surveillance photos of the three young burglars wanted for breaking into Lindsay Lohan's Hollywood home early Sunday morning.

The trio, who covered their faces as best they could with scarves, were snapped by security cameras set up on Lohan's property near Beachwood Canyon.

According to police, the threesome entered Lohan's property around 1:10 a.m. and gained entry through an unlocked door. Once inside, they "ransacked" her home and stole items of a sentimental value to the star.

According to Lindsay, they knew exactly what they were up to.

"That's how i know it was not a ROBBERY," she tweeted yesterday. "electronics weren't taken…just things that a certain old friend knew meant a lot to me."

Police have not revealed what items were taken.

"My life has been kind of in shambles considering my house was broken into and i feel really violated," Lohan went on. "it really makes me sad, and well, obviously-scared. :("

As for the perps—one man and two women—all are described as white and between the ages of 18-25.

The male has a thin build, light brown hair, is 5 feet 9 inches and was last seen wearing a baseball hat, brown short-sleeve shirt and jeans.

The first female is between 5 feet 1 inch and 5 feet 5 inches, weighs around 120 pounds, and was last seen (on the tape) with her hair in a pony tail, wearing a scarf, white shirt and black pants.
