Looks like Vince's Entourage is getting a little bigger.

Rapper Bow Wow is joining the fifth season of HBO's Emmy-winning series as Charlie, a stand-up comic who becomes a new client of E's (Kevin Connolly).

Like many musical artists before him, Bow Wow (formerly Lil' Bow Wow, originally Shad Moss) is looking to make the transition from rapper to actor.

"After 16 years in the music industry and six successful albums, I've decided to shift my energy to something else I'm passionate about, acting," he said. "I'm going to try to be the next Will Smith."

The 21-year-old rapper also landed a film role opposite Forest Whitaker and Isaiah Washington in the sports drama Patriots. He has appeared in films including Roll Bounce and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, and on TV's Ugly Betty, Smallville and Moesha.
