We know that Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker) is definitely pregnant. We know that it's a boy. And we know that Esteban (Demián Bichir) is indeed the baby daddy. But we're suddenly not so sure that we'll actually see a birth on this season of Weeds.

We caught up with Justin Kirk, who plays Andy Botwin, this morning, and while he says he doesn't even tell his own mother what is coming up on the show, the coy actor put some major doubt in our Weeds-obsessed brains about the future of Nancy's baby. Here's how it went down…

So, Nancy is definitely having the baby?
[Laughs] Did they tell you that?

Oh, so she's not?
Oh, oh, no. I just wanted to know what people told you before I say anything.

Mary-Louise recently told us a baby is coming.
I think we can be fairly certain she's actually pregnant.

That we know, but does she actually have it? She could terminate it or have a miscarriage.
She could.

And that's all Justin would say, except this one last clue: In explaining how Alanis Morissette comes on the show, Justin says, "She is Nancy's obstetrician, and Mary-Louise and I go to visit her with a particular event in mind." A particular event, eh?

Check back here later this week for more from our chat with Justin Kirk. And in the meantime, hit the comments and let us know what you make of this. Do you think Nancy actually has the baby or does something else happen?
