On Saturday night, President Barack Obama took Michelle out for a night in the Big Apple.
They arrived at JFK on a small jet before taking a helicopter into NYC for dinner at hot spot Blue Hill.
Fellow diners had little warning that the prez and his wife would be eating in their midst.
One couple's purse and jacket were quickly checked by Secret Service agents, and then in walked the president.
Their night didn't end after dinner...
Next, it was off to see Joe Turner's Come and Gone on Broadway before the couple headed back to Capitol Hill.
The president was making good on his promise to take Michelle to a Broadway play after campaign season ended.
They didn't take Air Force One, but some say the night on the town might be too over the top in these tough economic times.
