Can't Top This: An item since 2004, Ellen announced she and Portia would tie the knot the day after the California Supreme Court struck down a ban on gay marriage.
But beyond being just a groundbreaking union, the talk show host and her girlfriend pulled off an intimate and stylish affair well worth the wait. Surrounded by candles, roses and romantic drapery, the blushing brides both wore Zac Posen and swapped rings by Neil Lane.
Motivational author Wayne Dyer led the ceremony, followed by an at-home reception featuring a vegan menu to reflect their meatless lifestyle, finished off by a vegan red velvet cake from local hotspot, Sweet Lady Jane.
Sweet, indeed.
