This was not just another day at the Beach.

Alex Murrel, who rose to fame as a castmember on MTV's Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, had her rented house in the O.C. visited by police last week, who busted her Peruvian boyfriend for felony possession of cocaine with intent to sell.

According to Sgt. Jason Kravetz of the Laguna Beach Police Department, officers raided Murrel's residence at the request of Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The agency believed her beau, Renzo Gamboa, was in the U.S. illegally. A search of the home turned up a stash of coke, at which point Gamboa copped to being the owner.

Murrel, 22, was questioned as a witness but is not expected to face charges.

"The immigration people came down and asked us for assistance. They found him at the girlfriend's house and we assisted them, but we had a new charge to add on because of the cocaine in the house which was his," Kravetz tells E! News.

"We arrested him and booked him on felony charge of possession for sales."

Gamboa was transported to county lockup and placed on an immigration hold. So it doesn't look like he'll be getting out anytime soon.

Murrel was the lead on the second season of Laguna Beach. She is currently trying to kickstart a music career.
