It's not exactly a national holiday, but there are some people who are treating tonight's New Moon premiere in Los Angeles as if it were one.

Kestlie Stefanelli, a 14-year-old from Truckee, Calif., has taken three days off from school so she could camp out near the theater in the Westwood Village neighborhood of L.A. She and her mother, Laurie, are two of an estimated 500 people who started arriving on Thursday with pup tents, lawn chairs and sleeping bags in hopes of securing a good spot on or near the red carpet…

Oh, Brooke Hogan!

You really, um, impressed the crowd last night at Enclave nightclub in Chicago.

A source reports that the reality television star/singer showed up at the hot spot "in an utter state of hot drunkenness." At about 2 in the morning, Hogan jumped onstage and gave an impromptu performance of slurred lyrics and wobbly dance moves.

Just because the Glee cast was ousted from the NBC Thanksgiving Day Parade lineup doesn't mean our favorite high school singing club is holding a grudge.

Glee's main man on campus, Cory Monteith, fully intends on watching the Turkey Day parade. "No sour grapes," Monteith told us at Maxim and Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed 2 party. "I'm looking forward to the Jay Leno float. That will be really fun to watch."

I just got word that the New Mooner will be one of just about five honorees at the upcoming Variety Power of Youth event. Mr. Lutz is being recognized for his work with abused, neglected and abandoned children at the Royal Family Kids Camp.

Power of Youth awards will be given out on Dec. 5 at the Paramount lot in Hollywood.
